what are the requirments to become a fitness trainer in the gym?

im a senior in high school and i would like to know what the requirements are for getting a job as a fitness trainer in a gym. ive taken many aerobics classes in highschool and also a sports medicine class. what else do i need?

you will need to sit a course and need a great understanding of the body, how it works and people.

plantar fasciitis won't go away?

I've had plantar fasciitis for two years. I've been in physical therapy for 8 weeks and I haven't seen any improvement. Anyone here have plantar fasciitis for long periods of time? If so, did it ever go away? Has there been cases of chronic plantar fasciitis? If so, how did you get rid of yours?

Please, don't give me advice on how to treat it, I know just about every trick in the book from rigorous stretching, ultrasound, electro-shock, prescription orthotics, ice coke bottle, golf ball, night splint, ice therapy, taking time off from activities, heel cups, steroid patches, oral medication (all of these under supervision of qualified podiatrist and physcial therapist).

Only two things I haven't tried yet is cortisone injection and surgery. Does cortisone injection help heal it or is it just temporary relief?

I'm planning on going into military service so I need to get this fixed within the year.

You are not alone, I also have had plantar fasciitis for two years now. I've also done all the remedies you listed, except for shots and surgery, which I just won't do. One thing that has helped alot is an arch support that slips in your shoe, a hard support - not one of those soft gel rubbery ones. You can find them at Rite-Aid drug stores (USA). Using this insert actually provided instant relief, but the healing process will take a long time, I'm told.

perfect fit workout
I want to look Sexy and fit again but I cant find a workout that really "works out"?

If anyone can help me with this it would be much appreciated.

Like i said I used to have a perfect body (6 pack, nice arms every thing) and after I joined the Airforce my body has just gone to the birds. I cant lose weight I cant gain muscle and all i get is more flab on my gut. And it's not like i eat real bad every morn I get up and eat and a salad at the chow hall (I get up about eleven in the morn) go to work and for lunch i eat a sandwich (small and light) then for dinner I eat an omlet with some bacon. I go to the gym and do my regular exercises so i can pass my evaluations every year. but nothing seems to work for me. I want my old body back so I can get a date every now and then.

any help is nice thanx.
and as far as sports im only good at paintball which is kind of hard to do when it gets cold outside since they have no indoor fields up here.

I'm a personal trainer, and i have been for more than 5 years but that was all individual training. I'm teaching a womens fitness class starting next month, and i already have most of the class designed but i wanted to hear from some women and do a quick survey
