I like the new ones coming in on the bottom left and they right top. They are very cute and would make people look. Plus, they don't look like a cheap costume for a dance recital, like the first one does (no offense)!

grip chin pullup
Is doing bicep pull up/reverse grip chin ups the same on a lat pull down machine rather than on a pullup bar?

Is the motion the same, if I sit down and do reverse grip chin ups on a lat pulldown machine. Would it give me the same results and gains as regular pull ups on a regular pullup bar?
I know ultimately the best thing to do is actual pull ups but a lat pull down machine lets me control the weight. I am currently losing weight and I should be down about 20 lbs by the beggining of the summer. That would be my ideal weight once I lose another 20 lbs.

Ideally you use a pull up bar instead of the machine. I get a stool to help me pull myself up after I do so many that I can't really do any more. I put my feet on the stool and kind of 'kick' myself up. You're getting a lot out of the movement resisting as you come down. You could also try weight assisted pull up machine. I would not do the lat machine instead of pull ups, but I would do both. Pull ups are difficult for a reason - they are really good for you and should not be avoided.

is my strenght proportanite?

i work out a lot, lift run swim ect. i was thinking thoug that my arms are stronger than say my chest, im 6'2 195 right now, and have 14' 1/2 in arms, can do 45lb dumbell curls 8times but i bench only 185 max maybe.. havent maxed in a while though but still i do sets of 10 with 50-60 on either side of an olympic bar, but im also only at 6-7% body fat, your thougths?
not really b/c i dont talk like im from the hood or anything and i figure that most people here can handle reading things that arent quite right and complete scentances
sorry my questoin was for other people serious about being fit and not for some fata** coutch potato jerk like you, dont have to answer questions you arent interested in , most people would rather you just dont answer than you being a d1ck

Does anyone know how effective these items are - are they accurate in calculating how much calories burned in a workout ?

They are indeed very useful and fairly accurate.

The models WITH a chest strap are typically far superior to those without.
