How long would non-waterproofed ankle/wrist weights last in chlorinated water?

I purchased "aqua" ankle weights, but they are only 1 lb. I would like to use the non-aqua ones, as the aqua ones I have aren't adjustable to add more weight to them, and now the 1lb isn't enough. I have ankle/wrist weights that I use out of the water, but I am hesitant to bring them into the pool because I don't know if that would destroy them. Does anyone know if it would destroy them, how long that would take, and whether or not there is a way to waterproof them?

I gather you're asking about the fabric covered "soft" lead weights. You'll eventually have some discoloration of the fabric and over time it will break down in a chlorine environment but if you remember to rinse them off well in fresh water ( shower will do) after your swim session they'll last quite a long time.
Nobody uses iron in either weight belts, pouches, walking weights or trim weights. It's all lead, either solid cast or in the form of pellets for "soft" weights.

what are the requirments to become a fitness trainer in the gym?

im a senior in high school and i would like to know what the requirements are for getting a job as a fitness trainer in a gym. ive taken many aerobics classes in highschool and also a sports medicine class. what else do i need?

you will need to sit a course and need a great understanding of the body, how it works and people.
