i have an idea for a new fighting event what do you think?

right its in a cage and you wear standard mma gloves but its punching only you can hold an opponent but only for a short amount of time and you can throw but no ground work and a floored opponent gets 30 seconds to get up and if you keep moving away and not fighting your carded and you lose some of your purse for the fight and theres no rounds it just goes on till theres a winner its like bare knuckle boxing with a modern twist ie the mma gloves.

The "no time limits" aspect would keep it off of TV. It would be hard to make any money off of it because of that.

Taking 30 seconds to "come to scratch", to use the old bareknuckle terminology, presents possible hazards as far as neurological trauma. Standard boxing is bad enough, allowing guys to effectively be knocked out and having eight to ten seconds to be conscious enough to step forward with their hands up. Thirty seconds allows for more recovery time. The likelihood of fighters receiving multiple concussions per match goes up.

I like the overall idea, I really do. There's something appealing about the old-school boxing rules. But it's unwieldy for the promoter and unnecessarily hazardous to the fighters.
